Horses allowed being domesticated by humans about 6000 years ago, from then on they have entered into a close relationship with humans. Because people were able to ride on the back of the horse, they suddenly had a way of transport other than their own feet. In this way man could travel large distances, causing an enormous development of mankind.
Horses have been of great significance to mankind for centuries, although each time in different forms. They occur in many myths, think of Pegasus, the Centaur and the Unicorn. Also in the present time the horse is an indispensable part of our lives.

About Ilse
Working as an accountant, my search for health, happiness, love and most of all for myself, started in 2003 when I got a burnout at the age of 26. At the same time, my horse at that time, Pavarotti, with whom I was riding fully in dressage, developed long-term health problems.
Totally disrupted by this, a year later I met my spiritual teacher. Besides that, Pavarotti, turned out to be my biggest teacher and mirror and I found the path of my heart. Creating insight and awareness for a natural health of people and animals.
As a result, I completed the 5-year education in natural medicine for animals at the Silverlinde. An 1-year training in coaching with horse as mirror at HorSense, a training in equine craniosacral work with Maureen Rogers, a dissection horse with Sharon May-Davis.
After living in Belgium for 7 years with horses at home, a herd of Icelandic horses in a nature reserve taught me to communicate with a whole herd. I have also traveled a lot, which has given me a lot of life experience about freedom to walk your own path, following your intuition, other cultures and healing. In 2022 I have lived in Portugal, the Lusitano horses have a special place in my heart. Growing up with dogs and other small animals, I also have a great love for dogs and cats.
Because of my own quest my deepest wound is a source of wisdom and inspiration to be yourself, to follow your dreams, your heart and to live your own destiny. In which my heart connection with the horses is central.
